Try out our services risk free for thirty 30 days. If you are not completely satisfied with the web server services Active-Server provides, you may cancel your account anytime within 30 days of placing your order. You will receive a complete refund of basic server rental charges and setup fees. 

Restrictions and Limitations

Excluded from our 30 day money back guarantee are domain registration fees, bandwidth overages, extra disk space, optional or additional services, web site or scripting design, and co-located or dedicated servers. Also excluded are accounts terminated for violation of our AUP or other policies. Our 30 day money back guarantee only applies to your first server obtained from Active-Server.com. For security reasons the cancellation must be made in writing by the billing contact for the account providing the standard information required to terminate a server . All cancellations requesting a refund shall be effective upon receipt.

100% Web Server Availability Agreement

Coverage
If your account is in good financial standing with us the following servers are covered by this agreement: Basic Web Server, Small Business Server, Corporate Server.

"Web Server Availability" Defined
100% Web Server Availability means that we agree to do our best to keep your web site content available to 3rd parties for http access 100% of the time as measured in a 24 hour day in a calendar month.

Credit on Account
If there is no "Web Server Availability" we will credit your account with Active-Server.com for 1 day of service on that Web Server for each hour that your Web Server is not available. The total credit in any month cannot exceed the monthly service charge for the  month for the Web Server that is not available.

In order to receive credit the billing contact for the account must request a credit via email to our billing department within ten (10) business days of when the server was not available. You must include sufficient information to identify the exact domain in question, the dates and times the server was not available. Credits will be applied within sixty (60) days of your request for credit.

Sole Remedy
Our issuing a credit to your account with Active-Server.com shall be your sole and exclusive remedy in the event of no Web Server Availability. No cash or credit card refunds will be made.

Restrictions and Limitations
The following restrictions and limitations will prevent us from issuing credit for no Web Server Availability. 
1. Scheduled maintenance as announced either by email or posted on our billing website.
2. The failure or poor performance on the behalf of your computers, facilities, applications, operating system, browser or  your actions.
3. Things obviously out of Active-Server.com's control including, but not limited to insurrection, war or acts of war, acts of God, flood, denial of service (DOS) attacks, sabotage, earthquakes, hackers, strike or labor disputes, embargos, interruption or delay in telecommunications connectivity or third party services (upstream providers, DNS propagation,  DNS servers, etc.), interruption or delays in transportation, inability to obtain service, supplies or parts from a 3rd party, inability to obtain power, connectivity or equipment needed by the web server. Defects in the operating systems used.
4. Things in your control or the control of your customers in the case of resellers including but not limited to failure to correctly upload your site, programming or logic errors in scripts or active server pages. Your accidental deletion of pages or incorrectly coded html such as broken links.
5. The total credit in any month cannot exceed the monthly service charge for the  month for the Web Server that is not available. Credit received will also reflect any discount you receive for your total monthly billing.
